About This Circular
Bangladesh Jute Research Institute (BJRI — বাংলাদেশ পাট গবেষণা ইনস্টিটিউট), under the Ministry of Agriculture, published a revised recruitment circular on 19 July 2026 on its official website to recruit 41 permanent employees in 11 post categories (Grades 10–20). Established in 1974, BJRI conducts research on jute agriculture, technical products and jute textiles. Eligibility & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Sub-Assistant Engineer: SSC + relevant Diploma
- Assistant Librarian: Diploma in Library Science
- Scientific Assistant: BSc (2nd div) or Textile/Engineering Diploma + 2 yr experience
- Junior Field Assistant: Agri Diploma / HSC (Agri) — diploma preferred
- UDA / Store Keeper / Auditor: Graduate
- Shorthand Typist: HSC + typing speed (60/40 EN, 30/25 BN)
- Office Assistant: Class 5 pass with practical experience
General Conditions
- Bangladeshi citizen; male and female both can apply
- Age 18–32 years as on 20 August 2026
- All districts eligible; multiple posts allowed but exams may clash
- NARS evaluation form (4 copies) from bjri.gov.bd required
- Previous valid applicants (2024/2025 notices) need not reapply
