Key Qualifications by Post
Educational requirements vary by position. Highlights from the official circular:
- Naval Architect: BSc in Naval Architecture (min 2nd class/CGPA) + 5–7 years experience in shipping/commercial maritime
- Senior Health Education Officer: Master's in Social Science/Psychology/Statistics/Economics/Political Science/Social Welfare + MPH/DPH/DHE
- Medical Officer: MBBS or equivalent + valid BMDC registration
- Television Engineer: BSc in Electrical/Electronics/Microwave Engineering or MSc in Physics/Applied Physics
- Producer (News): Master's in Mass Communication & Journalism (min 1st class or 2nd class with honours)
- Other Grade-9 posts: Minimum Master's degree (1st class or 2nd class with honours) — see official circular for full details
Applicants who applied for Senior Health Education Officer under Notification 71/2024 (31 March 2024) and submitted Form-5A need not reapply. Govt/semi-govt employees must apply with NOC.
